RESIDENTS FOOD ONLY - RESTAURANT CLOSED
Due to ongoing staffing issues we have made the decision to close the Criffel Inn restaurant for lunches and evening meals. Richard and Sandra would like to thank all customers for their support and apologise for any inconvenience this decision may cause.
However, where possible we would like to be able to offer evening meals to residents. Our menu is detailed below and we are looking to offer this on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings between 6pm and 8pm to residents. If you wish to eat with us we ask that you advise us of this at the time of making your accomodation booking. A childs menu is also available upon request. As we will be catering for small numbers we will need to prepare most things to order and will be working with limited staff. In this respect we ask you to place your order with the bar staff approximately 1 hour prior to the time you wish to eat so last orders 7pm probably take to 7.15pm.
GROUPS
We will be happy to arrange evening meals Monday to Thursday for group bookings for accommodation of 6 or more people. As we will need to consider staffing for these nights this would need to be booked at the time of booking accommodation.
EATING OUT FROM THE CRIFFEL INN
On nights we are not catering for meals or should you wish to try somewhere else there are several places we can recommend for you to eat out. Further details for the various places will be available in your rooms and from our staff.
There are also several good carry out food places in Dumfries should you wish to bring back something with you to the Inn. We will be happy to supply cutlery and plates as necessary.

We are still serving our full Scottish Breakfasts as always to start you off for the day.
